Ultimate Hunting & Fishing • View topic - Browning A5 - Great Gun for Tall Guys, plus it's a Classic!
by FishnTod Sat Sep 13, 2014 5:30 pm
Had a fun week in WA shooting Canada Geese. Never had a problem with this gun. The light weight composite stock and low maintenance camo finish is the perfect ticket for any duck hunter. I also like the fact that the receiver has the classic block look that is unique to the A5. This provides a better sighting plain for a tall shooter. An added bonus is that Browning guarantees this gun for over 100,000 rounds of ammo. Be sure to break the gun in with 3 inch Mag shells. Some negative reviews have come out that I have read and they originated form the fact that the shooter did NOT break the gun in with 3 inch shells. I had two doubles of Canada Geese with this gun in the first 3 days of this season. Good luck with this gun and happy hunting.
